Being Sick is no Fun!

So Kennady has been sick the last couple of days, which of course means that mom gets sick too. So yesterday i ended up with the flu too. It was no fun i had to stay in bed all day, but it was good for cody and kennady they got to spend the whole day together. She really had lots of fun cause last night i was trying to hold her and she wanted her daddy. She hasnt done that in the past. They are so cute together.

Kennady's first real sickness!

So the last couple of days kennady has been acting kind of wierd, she isnt hungry and she wont eat anything but her bottle. We were starting to wonder what was the matter, when last night at chris and sylvias she pucked all over the place and ended up having the flu. It is so hard when little kids are sick you feel so bad cause they cant tell you what is wrong and what you can do to help. So last night she slept with us and ended up pucking all night. I wish i could have the flu and not her, now the only thing is now that she is getting better today is hoping that we dont get it too. Man mothering is so hard some times!

I thought this was so cute! I was reading Corey and Lauries blog, while kennady was on my lap watching too. It was so cute we were looking at their pictures and as soon as she saw a picture of Conner she started to wave at him and talk to him! It was the cutest thing ever! She then also started to wave at Corey and Laurie when she saw them and started talking to the picture it was so cute! I guess we will have to make a trip down there sometime soon so she can see her favorite cousin!

Corey and Laurie surprised us the weekend after christmas, they came up and we had a blast here are some of the pictures from our big weekend!

I had to put this picture on cause i think it it so cute! Kennady loves taking a bath. As soon as she hears the water running she is on her way in and she wants to get in too. The other day Cody was in the shower and i was getting ready while kennady was crawling on the floor and she decided she wanted to get in too so she crawled right into the shower fully clothed it was great. And she loved every minute of it, untill i made her get out!

And this is cody's So my mom and i were re-arranging the living room and cleaning everything out when i found a CD that we didnt know what was on it and it happend to have a bunch of our wedding pictures on it so i thought i would put some on that maybe havent been seen.

So today Kennady decided she was big enough to crawl up the stairs. She has only done one step and that is in our living room up to our kitchen but today she started crawling up the stairs and she made it up two before she got scared and wanted back down. So now she is on the move!

No sleep makes a crabby mommy!

Well Kennady has been having a very hard time sleeping all week and we could not figure out why. She has been getting up about every hour untill around 4 and then she is ready to stay awake, which makes me crazy since i havent had a good nights sleep in forever. Anyway we think we have finaly found the problem. Kennady is getting her top teeth. which everyone has been telling me are the worst. You cant feel them yet but since my mom has been a dental assistant and we both work for a dentist now, she showed me the bumps up in her gums that are kind of swollen that mean teeth are there and coming soon. So lets hope they get here fast so we can all get some sleep. Dont worry if i just burst into tears for no apparent reason....its just what happens when i get no sleep!

Kennady has really started to like the piano! She likes to make it play songs!
