The Date!

Kennadys leg surgery is officialy on June 25th we will be admitted into shriners on the 24th.

We are going to get kennadys leg fixed this summer!

Ok so i havent been saying much about kennady and her leg. Well last month my mom and i decided that we should go to seattle and get a second oppinion about her leg and our options. And it was a really good experience the doctor told us a bunch of new stuff that we didnt know and when we left we felt a lot better about what he had to say. Well yesterday we went back to shriners and talked to him and i guess since we had talked to the other doctor and had more knowledge we knew the right questions to ask because he ended up saying they would do the same thing. And also that it is time to start surgerys so this summer sometime she will have her first surgery. What they will do in this surgery is put a rod in both of the bones in her leg and also cut out the bone that is bad. This will straighten her bones out and let her be able to walk and run around like normal. We are really excited to get this going and let her be a normal little girl. Well thats what we know and i will let you all know the exact date when we know. love you all.

Going to the Park

On Monday we decided to go look at the dam in post falls and then play at the park. The weather has been so nice its been in the upper 70s and we just cant get enough of it so here we all are(well at least the ones who dont get sick on spinning rides) on the merry go round we had a ton of fun.

The Post Falls Dam it was beautiful and a little overwhelming with kennady there it always makes me a little nervious.

More Birthday

For Kennady's birthday we decided to take her to red robin, When we got there the red robin bird was in the entry and i thought she was going to freak but no. She loved him all she wanted was to see the bird she even let the bird hold her so we could get a picture.
She also got some fish..she named them too, nemo, cinnamon and cheech. sadly cheech is already dead he was a little guy and this morning he was belly up. She didnt know.

Dying Easter Eggs!

On monday we decided to dye easter eggs. It was a lot of fun although kennady didnt get the whole dying thing so instead she just ate two eggs while we dyed the rest.

Smoking!

All week cody has decided he wants to take up smoking. So he got online and figured out how to make a homemade smoker. Today he put it all together and we went over to chris and sylvias to try it out. This is what it looks like. dont worry the trash can is new.
Smoking takes forever so while we waited it rained no surprise there but after it was done there was a rainbow outside and we could atually see where it ended which was at the base of the hill on chris and sylvias back yard it was really pretty

Kennady also found some dress up clothes and paraded around the house.

This was the final product it smelt so good. (we are hoping the smoke smell goes away before chris and sylvia get home if not their house smells like a campfire.) anyway the fish tasted great and now cody is on a smoking spert and it trying to smoke everything in sight. It wouldnt be so bad if it didnt take so long to actually get something to eat.
