At Thanksgiving we decided to take another 5 generation picture so here it is.

New Christmas Wreath

Last night Arah showed me how to make this wreath it was super easy and fun. I love it and cant beileve how cute it is. I guess we are getting started already for christmas.

Its FINALLY time for a bath!!!!

Kennady got her cast off on Wednesday and she got to take a bath her leg is still pretty tender so cody got in with her. She loved it so far a bath a day, what did i do for 4 1/2 months with no bath?

Halloween

We had a halloween party this year. Here is everyone who came. Dont mind Arah she didnt have very much fun so she fell asleep ;) And the table with all the food it was a lot of fun.

My baby girl is officially a big girl!!

My little girl is not longer little she is now a big girl. Yesterday she learned she could climb out of her crib...with a full leg cast on i might add...anyway i was stressed all night thinking she is going to fall out and break something else. So today i took her crib down and put a twin mattress on the floor and now she is going to sleep in a big girl bed. I cant believe how grown up she is getting. She was so excited too i made the bed and we sat on it to see how it worked and i asked her "what do you think of your new big girl bed." and she replied "its perfect" It was so cute. Well now we just have to make sure she stays in her bed all night, but i figure its worth it since now every time i hear anything from her room i dont have to wonder if she fell out or not.

One thing after the next.

Just to catch everyone up Kennady has been in a cast for 14 weeks as of today. We went in to the doctors and the plan was to take the cast off and get a brace. Well last week she was getting her diaper changed and ended up bending her leg back all the way to her butt. She cried and i thought it was because of her knee being super sensitive since it has been in a cast for 10 weeks and not being able to bend it. Well she wouldnt walk on it or crawl for a day or two and then she started to crawl again so we thought it was getting better but when we went to the doctor today we had a huge surprise they took an xray of her leg and were looking to see how the bottom of her leg was healing (side note it is healing really well more bone is forming all the time) but as they looked at the xray they noticed that she had a break right above her knee. I could not believe it she has had a break in her leg for almost a week and i neve knew. Anyway so now she is back in a cast long leg cast for 4 more weeks then we are suppose to get it off but you never know what will happen in a month. I will update more as time goes on.

We did a lot of stuff but what we did the most was play in the water. Cody and I brought my parents boat up and we did wakeboarding and tubing it was a lot of fun. This is the lake we stayed at. Priest Lake.

We had so much fun at priest lake. Next year we are going to stay longer and play even more.

Granite Falls

One of the days we were up there we all went to granite falls and hiked around. This was the drive there.

at the very top there is a place called the ancient cedar grove we didnt make it all the way there but cody found a huge tree at the bottom of the mountain.

So i thought i would put our trip to priest lake in three sections. This was us driving up there. We stopped at zips and had dinner on the way up cindy ended up ordering more fries than she relized so she gave this tub to kennady and then she did not want to share she got all pouty when some one took fries.

She was in a wierd mood she didnt want Cindy to take one of her sippys away so she showed her she needed both of them.

I tried to take pictures of everyone in our car so here is cody and me he is driving.

Pig Out In The Park 09

This year we went to pig out in the park with Matt and Arah, Codys aunt and uncle. It was a lot of fun tons of food and music.
We had giant corn dogs

And Brinley and Kennady became good friends she loves when we do stuff with them cause then Brinley gets to come over and play

I was looking through pictures today and i came across this one from when kennady was almost 1 and i just can not believe how different she looks. i never thought kennady was a fat baby at all and she really isnt but i never realized how round of a face she had and how grown up she looks now.

Lately kennady has surprised me with how grown up she is getting and how i can have an actual converstion with her. She is almost 2 and a half where has the time gone?

Grandpa Macks funeral.

My grandpa Mack past away last sunday so my parents and kennady and i went to his funeral in Idaho Falls. It was a really cool funeral my sisters and i sang and all the grandkids went up and put a rose in a vase and told a couple of memories of our grandpa. Then at the grave site they did the military salute. Which i have never seen before. My grandpa surved in WWII. It was amazing. This was the first funeral i have been to of someone i was close to. We lived next to my grandparents until i was 11 and we spent a lot of time at their house. While being down there it made me miss being close to my grandparents especially my grandma. I dont think there is anyone in the whole world as perfect as my grandma. I cant wait till cody is done with school and we can live closer to her. This is kennady and me at the luncheon.

Before and After.

I thought i would post a before and after just to show the HUGE difference in Kennadys leg. This is the day before we went in for surgery.
This is 6 weeks after her surgery.

We have made it three years already

On tuesday was our 3 year anniversary but we didnt get to spend it together since i was driving down to my grandpas funeral and cody had to stay home and work. So we celebrated that weekend instead. Cody planned the whole thing and he did great. We went to dinner then he took me down town for a horse drawn carriage ride. Then we went to this pottery store and painted our stuff. He also had Chris and Sylvia watch kennady over night so we got to sleep in the next day too.

6 weeks done and only 6 more to go!

Today we went to shriners and kennady got her last cast off and got a new one put on. she did really well but was very scared the whole time. As soon as we pulled in the parking lot she kept saying "no go to nanas house" This is mom trying to distract her.
She found her own way of being distracted. This picture if mostly for cody he is always taking pictures of her with her fingers in her nose.

This is what her leg looks like without the cast. Its nice and straight. I will put some before and after pics up later.

Another pic of her straight leg. she has a scare on her knee and one on her lower leg where the big scab is. But all is going well her leg is trying to heal which is good and some new bone has formed. She now has a purple cast on and on the 9th of september we go back in to see how things are looking.
